Ribbed Structural Geometry on Composite Manhole Covers
A closer look at the ribbed underside geometry used across Compotec's composite manhole cover range.

The underside of a Compotec composite manhole cover is a ribbed structural surface. The pattern distributes load across the cover body and contributes to compliance with EN 124 load classes.

Design Principle
The ribbed geometry is designed to transfer traffic load from the top surface into the cover body and frame, keeping the visible face flat and even.
Standards
Compotec composite covers are produced in line with EN 124 requirements. Load classes are selected according to the application area — for example D 400 for carriageways.
